Fields​

Brand Code (ItemBrandCode)​

  • Max. 250 characters; must be unique.
  • Used in search and reports.

Brand Name (ItemBrandName)​

  • Max. 100 characters.
  • Reflected in the Product Name; its use is recommended

Label Stock Card (LabelItemId)​

  • Optional. Used to link the default label stock card belonging to this brand.
  • Can enable the label to be suggested automatically in purchasing/packaging processes.

Operations​

Add​

  1. Create a new brand.
  2. Enter the Brand Code and Brand Name.
  3. Select the Label Stock Card if needed.
  4. Save.

Update​

  • Edit the Code, Name, or Label Stock Card and save.

Delete​

  • If the brand is used by related records, deletion may be blocked; check the relations first.

Rules and Tips​

Effect on the product name​

  • The brand is added as the last part in the Product Name: "… | Stitch Type | Brand".
